I’ve got to say that I’ve watched tons of other tutorials on YouTube on how to crochet things, and yours are always by far my favorite! Thank you for sharing.

@jdw831 The easiest way is to use a larger crochet hook. If that is not enough, you may want to use extra increase stitches and rounds to make the cap larger.

Hi Teresa, Love you tutorials! I cant read a pattern to save my life, so these are great. I’ve made 2 of these and wanted to make one for a 2 yr old. Any suggestions on how to alter the pattern? Thanks!

Have you done a jester hat for a child with pom poms? Not sure if it would be a similar pattern or different with the poms on both sides or not.

    Hi Teresa,
I love your videos, you are so patient and kind and take time explaining what you are doing. You have opened up a new world for me as I don’t read patterns well. I was just wondering if you have a dog sweater pattern you would share with us. You are awesome. Happy New Year!

I love and do not speak English

@1love2008falife You can tie several knots around the pom pom so it stays in place.

  23. 1love2008falife Apr 18th 2011

Hello Ms. Teresa, I’m in the process of finishin up this hat and now working on the pom ball, but you didn’t say if we tie a knot in the yarn or not once we’ve gotten to the end of wrapping the yarn around the circle of cardboard?

    Thanks so much
    Big Hugs,
